When we become conscious of the foundations of buildings, we become aware that spiritual practice needs a good basis from which to start.
[1]Psychological / emotional perspective: Foundations are often formed from the rubble of previous building and when this image appears we need to remember that we have available all our previous experience on which to draw.
[2]Material aspects: In everyday life strategy and planning are good foundations from which to start. When we become aware that there is something wrong with the foundations of our dream building, we may need to go back to the planning stage.
